How to Make a Pinwheel that Spins!

You need: colored paper, pencil, ruler, scissors, colored thumb tacks, superglue, bbq sticks or wooden skewers and small pieces of foam mat

1.      Get a colored paper, preferably printed on one side, and cut it into a square. Bigger square means bigger pinwheel.

2.      Mark the center.

3.      If you only have a plain colored paper, design one side using a colored or black pen.

4.      Cut the paper diagonally from the corner half way towards the center. To save your time and energy, see the pattern I made for you below.

5.      Carefully fold or bring one side of each cut corner to the center.

6.      Push a pin or thumb tacks through the center to hold them all together.

7.      Insert the pin into small piece of foam (floor) mat.

8.      Dip the pointy end of a bbq stick in a superglue and then insert it (vertically) to the foam mat. Let it dry for about a minute. And you’re done!

Have fun spinning!
